Empowering Women: Reducting Poverty, Restoring Dignity

New Hope Global’s overall aim and objectives are to address the multifaceted challenges faced by marginalised communities, especially BAME communities in Birmingham and its surrounding areas, challenges such as economic exclusion, poverty, social isolation, and ill-health; to combat poverty and sickness to ensure holistic well-being.

Women’s empowerment and enablement is at the core of our activities, and we work to tackle inequalities faced by women from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities (BAME).  75% of our work is with women from BAME communities.  We aim to enable them to identify their needs, tackle health and economic injustice and to help them meet these needs and to participate more fully in society.

We are pleased to announce our continuous partnership with independent age and very grateful for their support.

The project ‘Reducing Poverty & Restoring Dignity’ will continue to support women over the age of 65yrs + from racially minoritised women in financial hardship and make sure they get the essential support and guidance to maximise their income and reduce their bills.  We will achieve the objectives of this project by offering the following support and services:
